What is the age of your child? I've also had enquiries from Shichida as well as non-Shichida parents who would like to buy 2nd hand materials. Perhaps we can have some form of guidelines so that it's easier to match up buyers and sellers.

I have some 2nd hand Tensai flashcards for sale. Will post on the SELLERS section. Also have other games like IQ Genius blocks and Noddy Fun Books but my son still plays with them occasionally. Maybe sell them next year

Besides the original Shichida flash cards, I have other 2nd flashcards as well as homemade ones. Instead of selling, I would like to exchange them with other mommies so as to get more fresh topics and images.

Welcome to Shichida Parents Forum! Do tell us about your boy's experience in class.

Actually, once you get the concept of the class activities, you will find that many of them can be modified or improvised to play with your child at home. There are so many brands of flashcards on sale now at booksores compared to 4 years ago and they are cheap and attractive although the topics are quite common. When u buy Shichida materials, which are by no means cheap, do look for specific topics such as 'Famous People' which also comes with a synopsis at the back about their life story. The dot cards are also a good buy and the IQ blocks. For foreign language exposure, go for the Sawako series.

Just attend fisrt term for my baby 9 mths old. Would like to purchase Shichida learning material as well, anything will do, flashcards, games, is almost a year since last post for buy & sell section, just wonder still can find the material...Thx alot.

I'm a newbie and new mummy to start to train right brain education for my 2 kids (5 years and 4 months baby).

How do I star? Please suggest to me what home teaching material to use for Shichida method. I read Shichida books and intend to know more. But no shichida center in my home town. MRC ok? Right Brain Education ok?

Hi,

My boy is 32 months and is enrolling in the center point 3 years old class. I am looking for 2nd hand materials especially flash cards because i am running out of them at the moment. I did a few sets by downloading the free one from esl.librabry.com and also bought 1 set from watering can. In fact i am looking for parents who is willing to exchange materials if possible so that as parent we are not that stress in preparing the home materials. Does anybody know that besides Tensai product and watering can products is there any other cheaper resources we can get? My son is interested in flash cards session at home but he complaint that i am too slow compared to his sensei. I feel so embarrased.

Don't worry, u r doing a great job. At least yr cards don't fall down like mine at first. The Senseis r well trained n do it everyday, that's why so fast.

I was toying w the idea of a Flashcards Exchange potluck party, but alas too busy to organize. I still have lots of homemade flashcards n as Linus is oredi 7 plus now, he's outgrown many of them. If u r near Kelana Jaya, u r most welcome to borrow them for yr son. Call me at 012-5208211.
