How to use the Mandala pictures?
 
Both color and outline Mandalas are in the files.
Print and cut them up.
1. As with all Shichida activities, begin with
meditation, breathing & energy ball exercises.
2. Flash color Mandala for 1 or 2 seconds.
3. Ask child to close eyes and you say "*Do you see
color image with your special eye?"
4. If "Yes", you say "Then draw now".
Give your child the outline Mandala and a box of
color pencils. A few will do if younger child. It is only necessary to draw a stroke of color in each
area corresponding to the image he captured. No need to color nicely. This
activity should
take less than 10 seconds.
Note:
*Your child WILL achieve this after repeated practice. It is very important to
flash quickly as the Right Brain takes in the entire image at a glance and forms
an 'after image' that the child sees when he closes his eyes.This ability to see
and retain the 'after image' will grow over time. Initially your child may say
"But Mommy, I don't see anything!" Be patient. According to Prof Shichida, the
'after image' will stay for less than 5 seconds initially and gradually build up
to 10 seconds or more. When the 'after image' is burned into a child's mind for
more than 1 minute, even after seeing an object for only 1 second, he is
said to have achieved 'Photographic Memory'.
